OMG! Such Gore was incredible. They definitely didn't hold back in blood horror. The aunt was really creepy.

I like to think Zach Cregger sat down one day and went "I want 17 kids chasing down an old lady and then they tear her apart." He then would chuckle to himself and go "Alright... how do I get there?"

Comedy and horror are both great but the comedy seems to get rid of the tension at bad times, especially the third act. I feel like it Kindve doesn’t take itself seriously at the end.  6.75/10

Eu escrevi uma crítica inteira desse filme, mas apaguei sem querer. Resumindo, gostei da atmosfera misteriosa e de como Zach Cregger vai fazendo cenas mais frenéticas ao decorrer do filme. A Tia Gladys tem uma das melhores performances do ano (2025), sendo interpretada pela incrível e talentosa Amy Madigan. O roteiro de Cregger é dividido em capítulos, cada um contando a história de um personagem, que acabam se conectando no final, uma forma muito interessante de se contar uma história, na verdade.

Por dónde empezar… Creo que no soy el único que se encontró con un ritmo desigual, que avanza a duras penas tratando de estimular al espectador con gags que no compensan la primera hora y media, que no es que sean malos, es que no compensan tanto metraje. Las tramas individuales además de no lograr generar suficiente interés, tampoco tienen suficiente peso dramático, se apresuran en desenlaces totalmente desaprovechados, haciendo que carezcan de cualquier tipo de relevancia narrativa, simplemente por la mera inclusión de punchlines cómicos.

And the father of the year award goes to........ I really like the film before the villain reveal, it lost it's vibe after that. The villain felt motiveless and her techniques were unexplained. Any of the jump scares didn't even make me flinch, but maybe it's just me. An exciting watch though

It was very promising, had an interesting story and idea, but unfortunately it got ruined from middle to end. Wish they used more of the creepiness in movement as they did when the lady walked out of the house at night with the scissors, gave me a bit of Hereditary vibes, really creeped me out. I guess what really ruined everything was the "comedic" ending, like c'mon, now it just looks stupid instead of scary.

“and they never came back.” What an amazing film. The messages of alcoholism, of weaponizing children, are so tragic. There is a lot of funny moments in this film but it is heartbroken at its core. An incredibly crafted movie that I will watch again and again.

Adding a marvel-like tone to overused tropes isn't advancing the genre; it's dumbing it down. And congratulations, Earth's directors. You did it, you sons of bitches really did it. You turned title cards into crutches! And speaking of crutches, I lost count after the tenth jump scare

i’m honestly blown away!! some of the sharpest writing i’ve ever seen in a horror movie. the non-linear structure could’ve easily been messy, but here it felt so smooth and everything clicked together perfectly. the ending was a bit too abrupt for me though. i kept waiting for more because the whole premise was just that strong. and amy madigan? wow. gladys genuinely creeped me out, which almost never happens for me with horror characters. easily one of the most unsettling performances i’ve seen in a while.

I'm neither completely disappointed nor satisfied, I had high expectations when I sat to watch the movie from the trailer and hype around this movie. But the mystery was not that engaging and the way it was delivered, means how it unfolded it wasn't so surprising and not even worth that build up, or maybe I wasn't in good state to watch this type of movie but anyways the main plot didn't worked for me. Now coming to the horror and dark comedy part, dark comedy worked for me most of the time and even in the climax scene(lol), but horror wasn't that good like people were saying, like it wasn't scary and the horror feel was okay. But the characters were the part which pretty hooked me throughout the movie. Maybe I would give it a watch again if someday I feel like watching slow horror movie.
