The Super Mario Bros. Movie2023

This script was written by combining hundreds of the top comments in r/nintendo.   Nintendo didn’t get the message that 2023 is the year of sincerity. Early in the movie, Mario and Luigi watch their first commercial for their plumbing business and the accents in the commercial are perfect.  But when the commercial ends, everyone makes fun of the voices.  I honestly think the writer was trying to make some Uber-meta joke about complaints over Pratt’s hiring … like look how bad the voices would be if we used thick Italian accents!   Great movies pull you in as the real world melts away.  Its kinda hard to do that when you hear Charlie Day’s voice come out of Luigi’s mouth.  This movie - itsa sucks! Making Boswer Jack Blacks tenacious d character worked and was fun, but that doesn’t mean it was a good idea.  It was lazy. Not that this matters, but I refuse to believe that Chris Pratt has played Mario for more than a few hours.  Just listen to his interviews.  It shouldn’t bother me but it does
