the best best best trilogy ever made! rewatching the whole thing in a day made me remember my roots. samwise gamgee, you are my true hero and i will NEVER stop saying it. that one scene with pippin singing for denethor while faramir rides out with the cavalry? absolute chills. the song playing while the horses charge, faramir silently drawing his sword, orcs letting their arrows fly, and denethor aggressively munching on food and exploding a tomato like it's the most dramatic thing ever. the cinematography was flawless. billy boyd’s voice? haunting and perfect. goosebumps every single time. watching these moments again reminded me why i got into movies in the first place. truly nothing but love for this masterpiece of a trilogy 🙇🏻♀️
