Arguably one of the best set designs out there, they truly went all out for the visuals. the sets and costumes, they simply are impeccable stitching together this identity of a fable, quite a sad one, not in terms of events but rather in reasons, as this beautiful tale is told as a leverage, held against the curiosity of little girl's wandering eyes, almost like a ruse rather than a fable. but soon enough it begins reflecting the storyteller’s own turmoils; his inadequacy to live, his feelings of unworthiness, and his desire to give up, to leave the magic behind and drown in that 50-centimeter pool, unwilling to fight back, as the mere act of standing up in that shallow pool would be enough for him to live another day, drowning in his sorrows, despite an easy way out... And that right there, is the most gut wrenching imagery of depression, a salvation so close yet heavy as stone, a power within, but its worthless when there is no will…
