Quite a good movie until the final battle which goes on too long and is full of terrible CGI that doesn't even look remotely real. The Ruthye character is super annoying too. Should have had more Kara and dog story. And Jason Mamoa was just ridiculous and completely un-needed.

It was a fun movie. I don't see what the problem is. Some flight scenes at the end were a bit manky but not phase 5 MCU bad. Ruthy was a bit annoying if I'm being honest. Could've had much more Lobo, hoping he is in future movies. Loved Kara. However, maybe I'm biased, but the scenes with Zor-El and Corenswet's Superman were hands down the best parts of the movie.

Não é tão inspirador. Apesar de ter boas atuações nos papéis principais e não ter problemas muito aparentes, falta muito pra se tornar uma obra interessante.  A narrativa não é muito diferente de muita coisa que já vimos a uns anos nos filmes de super-herói.  De vez em quando acerta no humor (gostei muito do personagem que trabalha junto com o motorista do “ônibus”), mas não com uma intensidade suficiente pra carregar o filme. No fim das contas não mostra muito porque veio. Supergirl tem alguma coisa nova pra dizer?  Ah, aquela música da luta final não combinou nem um pouco.

Eu estava com muito medo de assistir esse filme porque eu vi muitas críticas negativas, mas eu gostei bastante de assistir ele. Não é melhor que *Superman, *mas é um filme bem legalzinho de assistir e bem divertido. Uma ótima introdução para a personagem.

I just got out of Supergirl, a film which has been receiving middling reviews, a fact that I am very much surprised by. What I saw was a fun space adventure with a lot of James Gunn influence and inspiration. While I have a few problems, none of them outweighed the fun I had with the film.  SPOILERS I just had a good time, plain and simple. I liked Kara and how she felt different from Clark because of her upbringing and her age when she left Krypton. They are both good, but where for Clark it comes naturally, Kara has to work for it or perhaps work against it. 

65/100 Some great talent goes into this film, as does some talent that should've probably stayed away. First off, let me say that Milly Alcock does great as Supergirl. I feel like, in the hands of a less skilled actor, the writing here wouldn't be as effective, so props to her for that. The movie also has some great effects for the aliens throughout, whether practical or CGI. They're all super (heh) fun to watch. However, with the bulk of my positives over, it's time to get into the negatives, starting with the other major players. First off, Krem isn't really that good of a villain. I get the idea of a more mundane evil rather than a supervillain, but in practice, the majority of it is offscreen, making him feel more like a generic space villain. Ruthye is another character where I get the idea, but the execution isn't there. I feel we needed to explore her character more in order for…

O matuchno, dawno nie widziałem tak poszarpanego scenariusza, w którym zależności przyczynowo-skutkowe są tak bardzo umowne. Ale i tak chyba jeszcze większym grzechem jest brak choćby jednej robiącej wrażenie sceny akcji, gdzie wszystko co najlepsze w tej materii zostało wykorzystane w zwiastunach. CGI bywa jeszcze bardziej paskudne niż w Supermanie, a o muzyce zapomniałem 5 minut po seansie. Największy plus to postać Kary, która jako tako ciągnie to na swoich barkach, dzięki temu jak ludzka jest ("that's for my dog, and that's for what you did to that girl" ♥️). W sumie jeszcze Lobo kradnie show za każdym razem kiedy się pojawia, ale nie ma go zbyt dużo.
