The actor who plays bjorn, just look at his expressions throughout the film (The guy did brilliantly and so are others)- there’s happiness initially yet reserved, then slowly becomes confused, then tensed, then in one scene he doesn’t know what he wants to say, then he cries, then he screams, then he is terrified and then again he cries. This is almost how I was feeling with that character’s family, watching this insanely engaging twisted movie. This has a solid and steady set up. I initially felt like “where is that inciting incident that takes this story forward?”  I was waiting for it, but after that twisty ending, I got to know that inciting incident was happening right in front of my eyes since the beginning only. This kind of a treatment makes such films more real, just allowing the plot to unravel meticulously. I tend to tilt even towards antagonists at times which obviously was…

Wow,I found the final 20 minutes or so riveting. I guess I just assumed everything would be okay, so that scene in the car literally knocked the wind out of me. My anxiety only grew until the first rock hits. Just deep despair as the movie concluded because now you know that little girls fate off camera. I'll never watch this again and it's going to take some convincing to see the remake. Also the remake is blumhouse? That explains the joss whedonesque joke added to the doctor reveal ... I bet it's in the same universe as M3gan 2.0. ok ok I'm done being a bitch and we all know the one true enemy is a Greg Marcus preroll Of note: I really liked how the serial killer used the fathers depression to manipulate him ...
