Speak No Evil2022

The actor who plays bjorn, just look at his expressions throughout the film (The guy did brilliantly and so are others)- there’s happiness initially yet reserved, then slowly becomes confused, then tensed, then in one scene he doesn’t know what he wants to say, then he cries, then he screams, then he is terrified and then again he cries. This is almost how I was feeling with that character’s family, watching this insanely engaging twisted movie. This has a solid and steady set up. I initially felt like “where is that inciting incident that takes this story forward?”  I was waiting for it, but after that twisty ending, I got to know that inciting incident was happening right in front of my eyes since the beginning only. This kind of a treatment makes such films more real, just allowing the plot to unravel meticulously. I tend to tilt even towards antagonists at times which obviously was a wrong thing in the end, but that’s how clever this movie is. It’s not for everybody maybe but I love such twisty movies as always that are thought provoking and becomes a talking point amongst movie buffs.
