Initial few minutes I was like what exactly this film is trying to focus on - Missing tigress that was creating problems in the village or politicians taking advantage of the situation, making this tiger issue to work in their favour somehow or was it about Vidya trying to settle in this already goofed up situation or was it JUST about common people (Villagers, honest officers, misled voters) trapped in this deceitful eco-system? This is about everything that I have mentioned above but mostly the latter part of it. Everything revolves around this one thing in the world (including forest conservation or saving the tigers) - SYSTEM and sadly a bad system. Sherni shows it seamlessly that we as a human being are indirectly a culprit, allowing this system to be in place then acting as a victim when the system doesn’t go as it was promised to be.
