This Film is just... perfect. I have some friends that ask why this film is so perfect and flawless and sometimes, they or I don't understand the answer. Just how can you put your favorite film into words just of how much you like it? I think that it's almost impossible to do such, but I think came up with half an answer. My heritage. You see, me? I'm Jewish and the film felt so personal everytime someone gets shot or dies. Like, these were real people that I'm (somewhere down the line) related to! And they could just be killed for doing their job? I know a lot of people knew that the holocaust was a horrible event and even I knew that too, but not as personally before watching this film.

Schindler's List • (1993) I watched this movie on 4th December, but I was literally traumatized afterward. Even my hands were trembling, unable to write about it. Steven Spielberg presents a dark drama unlike anything I have ever seen before. It stays in your mind so deeply that you can't forget what you have just witnessed. Oskar Schindler, the real-life savior of the Jews, is portrayed so convincingly that Steven makes us believe how an actual good guy can be presented on screen.

98/100 This movie hit differently for me. I don't know why, I certainly don't like it as much as most of the people on here, but emotionally, it registered on a level I think I haven't seen before. The film is very different from other World War II pictures, including Spielberg's earlier Empire of the Sun. It chooses to focus on the angle of a Nazi businessman instead, rather than the Jews. While I would be averse to this, the film does do enough to point out who's really suffering from the regime that I feel it still does a good job. Liam Neeson also does great as Schindler himself, perfectly portraying his arc of going from a businessman who can't see past his bank account to a man dedicated to saving everyone he can. This is also helped along by excellent supporting actors Ben Kingsley and Ralph Fiennes, both equally excellent as a Jewish businessman and the cruel Nazi overseer.…
