
Set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, the film follows the friendship between Deva, a tribesman, and Varadha, the prince of Khansaar. When a coup d'état is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler.

This is a movie where setup of any big scene is greater than everything else. Like the initial scene where Prabhas’s character loosens up to beat bad guys, the whole setup is superb but the final execution of action sequence is subpar without much vision in terms of action choreography. Most of the film is Just villains running towards hero and hero just without any kinda choreography, lifting his weapon to hit them. So madly basic. It’s also A rated and Prashant couldn’t take advantage of that also. Could have made a proper violent choreography than just making it “Hit and move on” like choreography which becomes highly repetitive. Same way Khansaar world (Different tribes, intentions, cruelty of some tribes) is more intriguing than Prabhas and Prithviraj’s equation.
