Depressing, interesting, and educational. A insightful piece on the choices people make out of need, both emotionally and materially.

If this movie was a candy bar, it would be an Almond Joy. Reason being, it's not much really. Coconut, chocolate, almond, but it presents itself in a way that's mysterious and beautiful. It doesn't try to be the best looking candy bar. Hell, you can even see the almond jutting out from the top and it's more or less, lackluster presentation. But when you bite in, you taste it for what it truly is. Love it or hate it that's what it is. Just some coconut filling and some chocolate. That nut on the top isn't any more or less seen, you now just appreciate it for what it is. You probably didn't expect much from it, and not saying it gave you every bold, popping flavor that something like a Kit Kat bar, or a Butterfinger, but it gives you every thing that it has and doesn't try and make itself more than what it is. Chloe yet again after “The rider”, hits the right melancholic buttons that moved me with gorgeous cinematography, utterly beautiful score throughout the film and the genius Frances McDormand at her finest. Easily one of the best films I have watched of 2020.  How beautifully Chloe has explored this “Nomad” space. Basically it’s a film about an inheritance of love and how each characters through their remembrance of someone special or something special in their life gains that hopeful future for themselves even if they have lost everything. There’s even one scene where they are looking at planets through telescope and it’s said that some elements of Jupiter travels to earth and it becomes a part of earth.
