很有趣的劇情設定 中間有一段藝術到像鬧劇 有幾幕抽象難懂 整體還是非常有趣的觀看體驗

Park Chan never stops blowing my mind and yet again he does it with his direction, writing and all the technical mastery. The way his films hold me from the beginning is a testament to his craft. That ending was incredible, just when it’s happening in the real world as I type this. Core theme hits home. Absolute perfection by Park Chan. I had expected nothing less from him. I take it as a crime for not nominating this for the oscars (DECISION TO LEAVE was also snubbed. I really don’t know why)

Laugh out loud funny but also viscerally emotional. Son Ye-jin impressed me the most. She said so much in her facial expressions and body language. I kinda loved how I was always a step behind the storytelling yet I rarely felt lost. It goes without saying that a lot of us will relate to the choices (or lack thereof?) made in No Other Choice. Can't wait to see it again

Z jednej strony ten film jest dokładnie tym, czym można się spodziewać że będzie, przeczytawszy jego logline, gdyż w swoim satyrycznym jebaniu po kapitaliźmie nawet nie sili się na jakąkolwiek subtelność. Z drugiej jednak strony zaskoczył mnie swoją zaniżoną przystępnością dla "zachodniego widza", względem chociażby takiego Parasite, którym przewidywałem że będzie. Jednak daleko mu do uniwersalności tamtego, a silne osadzenie No Other Choice w koreańskiej kulturze jest odczuwalne już na etapie wejścia w rodzinę, której losy przyjdzie nam śledzić. Otóż jest to rodzina zbudowana w tradycyjnym modelu (oczywiście z dwójką dzieci - synem i córką), co jest ważne dla wydarzeń mających miejsce w filmie, a nawet jest dla nich zapalnikiem. I może nawet czasami ta społeczna presja oddziałująca na mężczyzn, którzy "są mężczyznami więc muszą", jest przerysowana w celach satyrycznych (co i tak…
