L'innocenza, diretto da Hirokazu Kore'eda (titolo originale Monster), è un film drammatico che esplora la complessità della verità attraverso punti di vista multipli.  La vicenda segue Saori, madre single, che si preoccupa quando il figlio Minato inizia a comportarsi in modo strano dopo una rissa a scuola. Saori accusa l'insegnante Hori di maltrattamenti, ma la narrazione si espande rivelando che Minato è in realtà il bullo che prende di mira il compagno Eri, un bambino effeminato e vittima di abusi familiari. Provo* * sentimenti contrastanti. La prima parte del film è straordinaria: la storia è costruita con una delicatezza e un realismo che ti entrano dentro. La narrazione a incastro, che ci mostra prima il punto di vista della madre e poi quello dell'insegnante, crea una tensione emotiva fortissima, affrontando temi difficili come il bullismo e l'incomunicabilità con una maturità…

the fragmented story makes you believe that you’ll get different perspectives that widen the possibilities for what the truth in the story might be, but as the story goes on, you realize you’re getting closer to the truth. In here, there is a feeling of self-destruction, of the silencing of your own voice that is extremely sad and relatable.  who's the monster?
