"Mission Impossible: The Entity" - A Thrilling Ride with Familiar Tropes Overall, I had a blast watching "Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Pt. 1." The movie kept me engaged throughout, with its thrilling action scenes, particularly the heart-stopping chase sequences and perfectly choreographed fights. I mean, who doesn't love a good bomb-defusing moment at the last second or those intense car and train chases? Some were even comical, like that tiny yellow fiat going up against a massive tactical vehicle. The handcuffs element in one chase added an extra layer of stress that kept me on the edge of my seat. And let's not forget that epic train scene—nerve-wracking! The plot was gripping, focusing on a villain like no other—an artificial intelligence they call "The Entity." The main driver was the search for two keys that together acted as a fail-safe for some crucial source code. I couldn't help but notice the key concept had similarities to the Antikythera in that "Indiana Jones" movie, which was split into two parts that only worked together. And guess what, there was also a Place de l'Etoile roundabout scene just like in "John Wick 4." It felt like déjà vu!

Grace could've died instead of Ilsa
Not as smooth as previous 3 MI films in terms of pacing but it packs satisfying punch that still doesn’t feel repetitive mainly because of the focus they have given towards the execution of every set pieces (Which is obviously expected). It’s insanely fun. Not at all easy in such action franchise to always give an audience a fresh experience every time. But Tom, Christopher and the whole team never left any stones unturned. The consistency this series has maintained is impeccable. I believe this is the most consistent oldest action franchise compared to anything out there. Still not exhausted, not boring and still finding ways to give brilliant theatre experience. PS - Fallout will remain my favourite out of all still.
“I swear your life will always matter more to me than my own.” “You don't even know me.” “What difference does that make?” I love everything about this movie. This has some of the best set pieces in any of the Mission: Impossible movies. It feels like Uncharted in the best way. The best car chase I’ve ever seen. Amazing antagonists and an incredibly entertaining plot.
