虛實交錯，劇本滿有新意的（嗎）

The film starts brilliantly, apart from some cliché bullies, but ends in an “simplistic” way. Edgar Wright obviously has some interesting editing tricks but a little toned down this time, and that wasn’t a bad thing. So I felt like the ending could hit a bit stronger, if it was deeper than it ended up being. I still had a great time! The mysteries unravel in an interesting way and it could be very creepy sometimes! Anya Taylor-Joy is amazing, of course! Only me and my family were at the screening!

Edgar gets almost everything right from making it seem beautifully complex to exploring horror themes that have an obvious classic NEON touch to it. The music here is absolutely brilliant considering Edgar is coming from his last musical hit “Baby Driver”. Few inconsistencies and repetitiveness towards the end just before the third act is the only thing that is preventing me from giving this more than 3.5. Otherwise the ending is totally bonkers and enjoyed every bit of it. Not #MyShit but I can say almost #MyShit and that is not at all a bad thing for me.

Here is how i think about this movie: At first i want to acknowledge and you won't believe when i say that i saw Perfect Blue and now this in the span of single day even without knowing a single bit bout either of them. Loved knowing women side perspective with these two wonderful movies which really makes you stop think.... Now getting particularly to this movie, I must say i really had a surreal feeling about this in the beginning. Like how Edgar wright establishes character and aesthetics or settings.... that was part i loved most about the movie. The vibe and aesthetic were really good and were surprising for a horror movie and specially for a psychological plot. Although i didn't really wanted the movie to go that way cause i was enjoying what it was before the second half, i mostly get bored in musicals but director made me love that, i would just say in the end that even i like and my favourite genre is psycho-thriller with horror is a cherry on top but it was not okay to combined both of this, means with this setting it just turned into a mystery thriller in the second half which it didn't did well what it did was everything in the first half...
