Last Night in Soho2021

Here is how i think about this movie: At first i want to acknowledge and you won't believe when i say that i saw Perfect Blue and now this in the span of single day even without knowing a single bit bout either of them. Loved knowing women side perspective with these two wonderful movies which really makes you stop think.... Now getting particularly to this movie, I must say i really had a surreal feeling about this in the beginning. Like how Edgar wright establishes character and aesthetics or settings.... that was part i loved most about the movie. The vibe and aesthetic were really good and were surprising for a horror movie and specially for a psychological plot. Although i didn't really wanted the movie to go that way cause i was enjoying what it was before the second half, i mostly get bored in musicals but director made me love that, i would just say in the end that even i like and my favourite genre is psycho-thriller with horror is a cherry on top but it was not okay to combined both of this, means with this setting it just turned into a mystery thriller in the second half which it didn't did well what it did was everything in the first half... My all time favourite movie About Time carried the same aesthetic(i think there's something with UK film making i am enlightened to, would def. do some research) Pardon me, forgot to mention the leading ladies and how their performance were phenomenal and at times lovely to watch <3. For the wonderful vibe and Edgar wright filmmaking, i would give solid 7 out of 10.
