"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙚𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙨. 𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙮, 𝙮𝙤𝙪'𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨." One of the more defining experiences ever watching a film of Scorsese. Subtle yet within the scenes in its colossal runtime, it is visually appealing and invigorating. On how the story unfolds each time, it shifts to more serious and darker tones, a display of gruesome aftermaths. The capacity to create a sensation of terror and uneasiness was overflowing, and it was paired with a subsiding effect of the political plot that gradually became more clear and comprehensible. Just for the longest time, this might be my newest favorite of Scorsese's ever since his 1976 film 𝙏𝙖𝙭𝙞 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧.
