I don’t know exactly how to put this. But the technical term “VFX compositing” is something that has always been perfect in most of the films from the west but FINALLY I can say Indian film (Nag Ashwin) got it so right. Few other big Indian films had good VFX too but that seamless VFX compositing was rarely visible. Nag Ashwin and his team achieved enough realism in terms of VFX, Lighting and overall world building. Sometimes such things in movies could look artificial including characters. It’s the detailing of every characters and different places that is commendable here. I believed larger than life stuffs in this world as opposed to larger than life stuffs happening in our world setting. Thats why some of the writing choices I didn’t mind.
