I don’t know exactly how to put this. But the technical term “VFX compositing” is something that has always been perfect in most of the films from the west but FINALLY I can say Indian film (Nag Ashwin) got it so right. Few other big Indian films had good VFX too but that seamless VFX compositing was rarely visible. Nag Ashwin and his team achieved enough realism in terms of VFX, Lighting and overall world building. Sometimes such things in movies could look artificial including characters. It’s the detailing of every characters and different places that is commendable here. I believed larger than life stuffs in this world as opposed to larger than life stuffs happening in our world setting. Thats why some of the writing choices I didn’t mind.  Coming to Sci-Fi elements, OMG. This is closest India has got to proper blockbuster Sci-Fi themes. Interiors of each and every world is detailed, even usage of technology is brilliantly shown. My favourite gotta be Supreme Yaskin’s place. On top of this, I never thought mythology will go this well and here also Nag Ashwini achieved something unbelievable. Ending is breathtaking and can’t wait for the sequel.  Baring few unnecessary scenes here and there, there’s so many things to love and be proud of, considering this is an Indian sci-fi/mythological film of this scale and nailing it like this. Fans of high concept Sci-Fi will surely love this. I am so damn happy.
