What a fumble. I enjoyed the movie but they kinda screw it up by the end
Not my Joker.
dandik la la land
This IS rizz.
This is a movie about the guys who molded their personalities off Joe Pesci in Casino and Goodfellas. It's not a bad movie; I felt sad for the way Arthur was treated and the way he treated people later in life. It takes great filmmaking to elicit any strong emotion, so all these reviews about this movie being terrible are probably not serious. I liked it as a meta text and I liked it as a sad story about someone who never had a chance. This movie has nothing to do with any comic book characters. I'm assuming Todd Phillips could care less about Batman and Joker, but sure he'll use the IP to get the budget that comes with it to make his dream homage to Martin Scorsese
The most bizzare fictional prison I've ever seen, where priosners have an easier access to cigarettes than water. Or where some pyromaniac can easy start a fire, coz guards don't care about hiding matches and other potentially dangerous stuff (ok, she prolly made up that story about burning her house, so she's not an actual pyro, but still) I really appreciate the criticism of serial killers-celebrization and society fixation about true crime stories, but god damn, Todd Phillips have absolutely no idea what is a subtlety and he served us scenes that are even more in your face than this memic 'We Live in a Society" Also don't forget we are talking about a "muscial" here, so we have some songs. For me they all are forgettable and nothing more than just ok. I think they really wasted Stefani as a singer (but luckily she is shining as an actress)
