I miss all my lost families, but I'm super duper grateful for the ones I have now :)

A lot of people really love this one, and I can definitely see why. This is one of the more emotional Marvel movies out there. I really appreciate the movie dealing with some real emotional weight to it and dealing with a lot of emotional messages. I love how each character grows in their own way, and I really like how the movie's villain is peter's dad showing the harsh reality that family members can be awful sometimes. I adore the cinematography and soundtrack, especially when in comparison to the other MCU movies, and I still generally find the jokes to be funny. I do think that this movie is a lot weaker than the first for a couple of reasons. I don't know if this is just me but I thought the pacing was not great. The middle of the movie kind of lacks tension, so it ends up making the movie drag on for some time. I also think the movie loses some of the simple charms of the first.…

One of my favorite movies of all time. I am honestly a pretty terrible reviewer. There are so many movies that I love so much that I will excuse all their flaws and I will give a high rating. This is not one of those movies.  I’m sure one can find mistakes or problems in this movie. Maybe James Gunn does undercut a lot of serious moments with humor but there are times that need emotion and he absolutely delivers. This movie is already top tier for me. And then that ending. Oh man.  There was a time when marvel studios produced real emotional films and outside of some one-offs or a complete shift in the company we’ll never see that again.
