At least the ‘94 movie somewhat took the time to introduce its characters, even if it was done horribly. This movie assumes we will just know and understand who these characters are, even though this is the first official Fantastic Four movie, and most audiences probably know next to nothing about them.  Also, this movie looks and feels like a generic 2000s comedy whose literal only saving grace is Chris Evans playing a near-identical version of his character from not another teen movie.  The first action sequence makes no sense, and the whole thing is literally FFs fault. They’re revered as heroes and made celebrities for it? Also, Sue gets invisible naked twice for literally no reason? I’m fine with a movie being horny, but at least make it make sense. 

Watching it before the new one to get familiar! And i have to say without reading comic books that it was bad adaptation for these fantastic characters and would had been a big disappointment for the readers(as i can say by seeing the ratings), but for me it was fun experience and it felt like good origin movie from as compare to typical superhero movie, i must say the villain and the whole plot was the biggest drawbacks of the movie, so movie never gets so gripping and edge of the seat tense as it could have been from these type characters. In-short The "Fantastic four's" chemistry was the biggest selling point for me and their development throughout the movie that were most fun part of the movie which never remove your attention from the movie, but in the end it felt like i watched something forgettable which won't last longer with me as i'm expecting the newer one will be more smarter in the plot and villain impact.
