Fantastic Four2005

At least the ‘94 movie somewhat took the time to introduce its characters, even if it was done horribly. This movie assumes we will just know and understand who these characters are, even though this is the first official Fantastic Four movie, and most audiences probably know next to nothing about them.  Also, this movie looks and feels like a generic 2000s comedy whose literal only saving grace is Chris Evans playing a near-identical version of his character from not another teen movie.  The first action sequence makes no sense, and the whole thing is literally FFs fault. They’re revered as heroes and made celebrities for it? Also, Sue gets invisible naked twice for literally no reason? I’m fine with a movie being horny, but at least make it make sense.  Some shots are absolutely godawfully lit. Worse than a tv show, some shots worse than the ‘94 movie.  At least the movie is passably entertaining but like just barely. This movie came out the same year as Batman Begins, by the way.
