Leslie Knope prequel

I kid you not, I was a big StuCo nerd in HS. I ran uncontested for the schools Treasurer and won. I went to StuCo summer camp, and even was state eligible my Jr. and Sr. year, but only went to the state conference my Jr. year.  Got say though Tammy is right. The elections mean nothing. What did I do really as the schools Treasurer? Well I went and bought the spaghetti dinner for our big spaghetti dinner night. Was trusted with that task alone. Haha  Overall though a pretty good movie. I could see this rating going on on further rewatches, but for now a 3.5 feels right.

I loved The Holdovers so much that I revisited some Alexander Payne classics. It doesn't get more classic than Election. Sure, Tracy tore down posters, but wouldn't you be frustrated if an adult with authority over you undermined your student council election campaign? Tracy Flick did nothing wrong. I would've voted for her. Also - and I mean this as a compliment - my wife is a Tracy Flick and they really do mean well! They want to help! You don't like the Tracy Flicks of the world because they remind you that you're capable of more than you're doing. That can piss lazy people off, but me? I'm into it.
