Be my victim The Candyman is a brilliant introspection on the horror of America. A country that from its foundation was built on the backs of those who had no power. And as much as we progress and as much as we have changed as a society, the heart and souls of those people can be seen, heard, and felt to this day.  We had the power to stamp out evil in this country at its conception, and we did not do it. And when the country was united after being split in two, that should have been the end of evil here, but it was only the beginning of something much darker. An evil that lives in the shadows and thrives on fear. And once again, we thought we defeated it, but it only slunk further into the dark. Laying in wait.
