Going by individual episodes, it was an action packed selection with some of the most iconic moments from the manga adapted very faithfully. However when put together they lacked a larger narrative, after all it's only one part of the entire cour. Even so, the ending of the theatrical release felt abrupt and it felt incomplete, they could've ended it earlier or included a bit more to make it more tasteful. Really did enjoy the little panel at the end with Kubo and the team but I'm not gonna factor that into my rating.
