Take out the editing and sound design, and this is a fucking boring movie. Also, Ana reminded me of Amelie in the way she focuses on small details in life and her surroundings, even though the two films have completely different tones
Może to jeszcze nie jest ta głębia opowiadania obrazem i ta maestria wizualna co w późniejszym Błysku Diamentu Śmierci, ale i tutaj jest na czym zawiesić oko. Dodatkowo to najdziwniejszy i zarazem najbardziej zmysłowy kwazi-erotyk jaki widziałem, który działa na wyobraźnię, pokazując tak niewiele (chociaż nie boi się też mignąć cyckiem na cały ekran kiedy trzeba, co zresztą chyba jest normą u tego duetu reżyserskiego); podobne zabiegi, tyle że z marnym skutkiem, będzie stosować później Emerald Fennel w swoich Wichrowych Wzgórzach. Kolejną siłą Amera jest jego genialne nierównomierne tempo, gdzie z jednej strony potrafi delektować się pojedynczym kadrem dobre kilkadziesiąt sekund, ale kiedy trzeba jest tak dynamiczny, iż zleciał mi jak z palca strzelił, i gdybym nie wiedział ile trwa, obstawiałbym ~60 minut.
