Vey anxiety-inducing, sometimes feeling like a horror movie with plenty of jump-scares. I gotta say, really liked both the cinematography and the score that are really immersive. Just wish the characters were more developed
I nearly forgot what a masterpiece this is. It works so well because the gimmick (the movie being shot in one take) doesn’t hinder the story, it enhances it. With some exceptionally beautiful scenes, incredible performances and fantastically well placed cameos, Sam Mendes has created a journey of mythic proportions and one of the greatest war movies of all time.
Creative storytelling and different from other war movies. Immersive and the lack of visible cuts and time jump was v cool. Yes, this is quite a very pretentious review from me considering my lack of knowledge of proper critiquing. But good film.
