Worked at Disney for a number of years before moving to Hollywood. Worked as a civil servant near there and moonlighted in catering. An avid fan of Lucille Ball. Upon hearing of Gardner's fantasy of doing porn, Ted Truman, a friend, introduced him to director Jim West.
