Funny and endearing coming-of-age drama/comedy about how a catholic school suffocates themselves and their students with their bizarre religious compulsion where they teach students - “Guys are like microwave ovens and girls are like conventional ovens. Guys only need a few seconds like a microwave to get switched on. While ladies, they need to preheat for awhile” Natalia Dyer Is splendid in being one of the students and showing that “I will go to hell” look whenever she goes beyond the limit set by her religious school and other people around her. She even think that she might go to hell for rewinding Titanic film to watch a steamy scene or self-pleasure. It’s such a naturally controlled performance that I felt her pain and how she’s chained from being totally herself. This film was not only about her but also it’s about discovering the hidden truth in every person and they don’t seem to be what others think even if they show it from the outside that they are within the limits of a religious compulsion. Nobody on this earth follows what they preach it seems.
