When brothers Pedro and Jimi discover that a demonic infection has been festering in a nearby farmhouse, they attempt to evict the victim from their land. I lost count of being in awe of so many unflinching unforgivable scenes. This was absolutely bonkers. Gory, thought provoking horror that will stay in my mind for so long. There are so many things that broke the stereotype here which comes at you when you least expect. So gruesome experience. Easily one of the best horror movies of the year. Gonna dig this even more and read about this film. Thats how much it has impacted me.
I watched this movie after midnight in bed with XReal movie sunglasses. These are chunky sunglasses that have a string you plug into your ipad and then it projects a big screen out in front of you. This isn't an ad for the sunglasses - I kinda like it, but I suspect most people would find it extremely irritating. And I need to keep my contacts in to watch, so you get eye strain. But, this particular time was really fun. So anyway, I'm watching this thing with airpods and xreal shades in bed at 2am in the dark. The scene where the dog attacks the little girl came on and I screamed so loud that my wife, in a state of panic and confusion, hit me in the face really hard.
