WASP - WHITE ANGLO SAXANT PROTESTANT I think the implicit message here is that the government needs to shape up and take care of the working class. The explicit message is that put upon mothers are people too i guess. The dialogue was contemporary, not too out there but just enough to contextualize the time period and the nation. Lots and lots of poor iconography. I am not familiar with what was going on economically in ‘03 because what I know is that the recession came later. Homegirl is living in the mud. I could relate so that was cool. The score was serviceable, i did not really notice until the kids either almost starved to death or ate something toxic. However, I might just be a staunch advocate for eugenics because at WHAT POINT DOES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY BECOME A FACTOR IN THIS EQUATION!!! She spread her legs four times with no familial assistance/guidance or friends. She’s just vibing out and it boils my blood to no ends.
