“What I am is not my fault. It's not even my choice. I came to be because of what you are.” Incredibly ahead of its time. Or maybe we never really advanced past 1995. Too much of the movie is still relatable to today with its white supremacists and talks of border control. It touches on a lot of different ideas and topics, and maybe everything could be fleshed out better. But it’s only a 90-minute movie. And it honestly does a lot with that time.  It’s really too much to explain what this movie is. Better to just watch and enjoy the experience. Russell Crowe is electric, and Denzel Washington gives this role as much gravitas as he would any other.
