Vetrimaaran’s Masterclass in world building that slowly unravels the atrocities that is there inside the system. Absolutely brutal exploration of a system that is using people like a simulation game, torturing them for their advantages and we see this from an innocent police countable’s POV. This character’s stunning arc of slowly discovering himself what’s happening around him is the main showcase of the first part of the movie. Technically also overall very good- Single shot opening sequence was gruesomely staged, then brilliantly shot and edited last 20 minutes sequence was another highlight of the film. Vetrimaaran strikes GOLD yet again in making a RAW political drama. Gutsy and realistic filmmaking continues and it should not stop. Can’t wait for Part 2.
