If anyone other than Tom Hardy doing this exact performance was cast in this it’d maybe be a 1 star at max.
Everything is just hype. Tom Hardy's performance is not enough to save this film from being a mess. Venom is an important character to me, but I couldn't believe it was possible for a movie to make me upset because it decided to become downright pretentious with its origin story. This movie is a waste of time. I couldn't even care less in the last action sequence between the two symbiote. I don't want to say it, but Venom and Spiderman complete each other. Feels like Spawn than Venom in so many ways, with Tom Hardy copying the comedic antics of Logan Marshall-Green in *Upgrade. *The only way Sony can make up with this disaster is by tossing this franchise in the bin, redo it all over again—the way it should be—and bring back Tobey Maguire as Spidey, with Hardy as Venom, staying true to the character in the comic books. What a wasted opportunity, the material is already out there but they squandered it.
Helt ok superheltfilm, var kort og hadde ikke mye story
This Venom movie was entertaining. I felt it took a little too long on the backstory, but once Venom was introduced it was good. Tom Hardy and Venom has a humorous connection with each other, which I didn’t mind. Just was kinda hoping more for a darker side of the movie.
鬧劇一場但滿紓壓的（欸） 女主角也太快就接受這個設定XD
