Famed monster slayer Gabriel Van Helsing is dispatched to Transylvania to assist the last of the Valerious bloodline in defeating Count Dracula. Anna Valerious reveals that Dracula has formed an unholy alliance with Dr. Frankenstein's monster and is hell-bent on exacting a centuries-old curse on her family.

While definitely trying to ride off some of the popularity of The Mummy, it lacks the proverbial “sauce” of that film. I think there is some sincerity in that movie that this one clearly lacks. There is still fun here (of the mostly campy variety) but you watch more for the 2004 of it all and less because its actually a good movie.
