In a world in which Great Britain has become a fascist state, a masked vigilante known only as “V” conducts guerrilla warfare against the oppressive British government. "Did you shave your V for vagina?"
This movie changes a lot of elements of the story in the graphic novel, but while I do prefer the graphic novel and find it more compelling due to its more bleak and ambiguous approach, this is still a good movie I can appreciate outside the source material.
I bet when this film came out in 2005 no one would think of how close it could get 2020. With masks, viruses, a bully government, and the media covering up stories. Just a good watch for November 5th 2020 during elections.
