Vampires and werewolves have waged a nocturnal war against each other for centuries. But all bets are off when a female vampire warrior named Selene, who's famous for her strength and werewolf-hunting prowess, becomes smitten with a peace-loving male werewolf, Michael, who wants to end the war.

11:50 PM This movie is so much more than the sum of its parts. It’s starts off as your average early 2000s blade-trix flick but the cool factor is so high it’s like twilights edgy older brother. There are so many amazing visuals in this movie and thank god because this would be a slog to get through without it. The plot is drip fed so slowly over the course of the film that I didn’t understand anything that was happening till halfway through. That’s could be due to that fact that I watched the extended cut so perhaps the theatrical version is breezier. Anyways I loved it. The vibes are just so immaculate and Michael sheen and bill nighys performances were the real highlights. Kate Beckinsale lowkey gave us nothing but she got the coolest moment in the film so who cares.
