I know very little about the national tragedy overshadowng this movie.  I know even less about Russian culture, let alone the community in this film.  But I want to learn more after seeing this movie. Very difficult to watch yet my eyes were glued to the screen,  and the way tension stayed with you the whole time - there’s not much else like it. Not to sound cheesy but I clenched my jaw jaw the whole movie.  For real - my jaw hurts rn. And the entire cast was great - I could’ve mistaken Akin for a young Jake Gyllenhaal.  I saw it on mubi.  It’s worth a watch
