“Twila” is a 3.5-minute experimental short that intertwines daily rituals with the rhythm of a mantra. The film unfolds like a meditation: opening with quiet stillness, gradually gaining pace and intensity until it erupts into a burst of energy, then dissolves into silence. Parallel to this cycle, we glimpse fragments of a woman’s everyday life — ordinary gestures mirrored against the breath and cadence of the mantra. The structure becomes a metaphor: just as a mantra carries the flow of meditation, a single day mirrors this rhythm of rise, climax, and release.
