Led by Woody, Andy's toys live happily in his room until Andy's birthday brings Buzz Lightyear onto the scene. Afraid of losing his place in Andy's heart, Woody plots against Buzz. Hell Yeah! Toy Story is just such a masterpiece in the realm of animation in every way. One of the most atmospheric films I have ever seen, Sid's house is so unpleasant but so entertaining and makes the movie so much more investing. Woody and Buzz have an amazing dynamic, that alone makes this movie worth watching. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are fantastic in their roles as well. the finale is one of the most exciting and climactic in animation history, and the humor is top-notch, there is the reason this movie is such a meme. The emotional stuff feels a bit lackluster, but other than that this movie just rules
This was the first movie I watched with my son. He finally has the attention span. Plus I was sick with covid. He seemed to really enjoy it.

This movie is beautiful. People talk about how dated it looks but honestly I think it really holds up. And that is a testament to all the work that went into it. So many little details especially in the reflections and that’s something that is easy to get wrong and this movie got it so right. Also many references like the shining reference in the carpet at Sid’s house. Also this movie has one of the most stacked casts ever.
