Great adaptation of the Le Carre novel. I think it holds its own vs the famed BBC series. I like Gary Oldman as Smiley more than Alec Guinness. (Who Le Carre said nailed the role so perfectly that he inspired future Smiley novels he wrote.)

A bit of a ‘hard to follow’ narrative, but a very majestic spy movie with lots of British actors with theatrical backgrounds. The grainy, undersaturated film look of England was beautiful
