Idris Elba is so hot, goddamn
Ufff I would have continued listening to any stories that Idris’s character Djinn was narrating. Gorgeous, sublime, ambitious, fantastical yet very real-worldly impactful feelings I got throughout. Every story had a strong connection to the word “LOVE” and how it needs that time to brew as opposed to just wishing for LOVE instantly and bearing the consequences. The whole thing about modern technologies affecting the djinn was so beautifully depicted and the writing made me empathetic towards Djinn. It’s a uniquely envisioned cinema technically yet familiar because it takes everybody’s favourite childhood character Djinn and gave it the most humane story that touched me ❤️
