Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum

Instant classic is the word I got after watching this and instantly became one of my favourite Malayalam films. Comedy and drama in its purest form. Spontaneity and realism in comedy was totally intact and that’s rare in comedy these days. The very unpredictability in writing makes it so funny and fresh. Also not at all exaggerated or over the top. It doesn’t feel like there are any leads in the film. Every character is memorable. The whole setup of the film in first few minutes is so utterly simple and that simplicity turns into an hilarious chaos. There’s one mad scene towards the end that ends up in a small fight sequence, that is shot in a way that made me understand these characters more than what we have already seen. There are multiple contradicting tones in that particular scene which is so bloody beautiful and at the same time funny. Marvellous is the word.  Gem of a writing this that deserves to be applauded again and again.  Fahad yet again..... HATS OFF. This man never ever fails to give great performances. One of the best India has ever seen.
