I really liked the sound design. when the sound of dripping blood get rhythmic It feels like the characters are singing to it.
I can’t believe I would say this, it’s tad over-appreciated by all. It’s a good movie and Yes it does give some kind of fresh twist to the Macbeth story with stunning cinematography, maximum supernatural elements and absolutely magnificent Denzel Washington, Frances Mcdormand and Kathryn Hunter as terrifying 3 witches but that overall impact in the end wasn’t too satisfying for me - The climax especially as it felt hurried. And that’s why I can’t give this more than 3.5. This is some kind of disappointment even if it’s 3.5 rating because of the director Joel coen. It’s his solo directorial attempt and I expected nothing short of masterpiece but anyways I still got a good visual experience that was refreshing with great performances.
