The biggest problem with this is the pacing. Which I remember being an issue in the first movie as well. And it’s only because it’s so jam-packed with references and moments. So much so that no moment gets to really resonate. It is a string of good ideas, even executed well, but not much more than that. I can tell that they are working towards Super Smash Bros., and on that front, the action and combat sequences are really great. Honestly, this reference storm filmmaking would be more suited to that film than it is to this. This movie is funny and entertaining, but they need someone who can write a sensible plot as well as jokes. I’ll probably watch it again when it hits digital, but I hope that whatever they do for the third film, they can really bring it all together and make a truly great film.
Incoherent plot, ugly shiny colors, meh voice work, and it just overall sucked, similar to its predecessor and that Minecraft movie. I'm worried about these Gen z and alpha kids. The entertainment they enjoy is totally superficial and seems to lack any value.

Easter eggi w jedynce smaczniejsze, bo te tutaj mają zdecydowanie za dużo lukru. Plot jeszcze bardziej chaotyczny niż poprzednio, ale fajnie wybija się w nim motyw rodziny, a dodatkowo cały ten chaos pozwala zahaczyć o wiele różnorodnych miejscówek znanych fanom gier. No i są dwie - niestety krótkie - sceny walki z badassami-księżniczkami, których nie powstydziłyby się najlepsze shoneny.
