James Gunn destroyed the military dictatorship and toxic political diplomacy in the most refreshing way possible. For a superhero film to get this message out to the world in a beautifully fun way is James Gunn’s show stopping feature. The eccentricity of dictatorship and blind faith nature of its followers is shown brilliantly - Not only the military and the leader symbolises this dictatorship but also SUPPOSED-TO-BE the extraterrestrial weapon of that military or a villain called “Starro” symbolises this perfectly - There’s one genius scene where this starro controls the mind of people and they say “It was my city” “This is my world”, almost calling out “Blind faith” that many people have towards any dictator in real world too who tries to control his people’s minds. Really dark humour at its finest and most importantly it has got fresh vibes overall which the other suicide squad was…

This movie is so good and so well written. It is hard for me to think of a blockbuster movie with better pacing when it comes to character development, especially in the superhero genre. There are so many moments that a lesser film would not include, and I think that is because of the James Gunn touch. Watching this has got me so hyped to see Superman. It’s going to be Fantastic. Also John cena is so good in this. I forget that he can actually act. He’s always fun but he was born to play peacemaker.
