visually beautiful, great performances, and the story is told really well. but thematically? felt kinda underwhelming and weirdly contrived at the same time. it was good, don’t get me wrong, but it didn’t quite hit the spot for me. lots of strong elements, but something about it didn’t stick. a great tale for sure, just not one that feels all that memorable to me.
