A masterpiece of pulp cinema. I can’t believe I had never seen this before especially considering that some of my favorite films are The Mummy and Sky Captain, which this film is definitely in line with. Growing up listening to the shadow radio programs makes this film especially precious to me. This is probably my favorite Alec Baldwin role (aside from The Boss Baby of course). Every set is absolutely gorgeous, the performances are electric and the pace is breezing. If you enjoy movies like Batman (1989) or Roger Rabbit you will undoubtedly love this film.
