Least dysfunctional white family
I love how this stands in Wes Anderson's filmography. It’s a balance of getting a bunch of the symmetrical shots and “dry” performances but also getting chaos in camera movement, perfomance and music!! Gosh, I love the music! Even the editing goes some places I think later W.A. movies don’t even get close to. The way the bathroom scene (an incredible scene) is intercut with shots of the eagle and other scenes is a standout.

On peine à saisir l'intérêt de ce film, en dépit de ses images qualitatives. Assez rapidement, on s'ennuie, on souffle, on se demande quand cela se terminera. Tandis que Ben Stiller n'est pas un mauvais acteur, je l'ai trouvé absolument imbuvable ici ; idem pour Gwyneth Paltrow, mais, pour le coup, je n'ai jamais vraiment accroché à son acting, c'est pourquoi je m'y attendais. Le scénario n'a rien à dire, les allusions incestuelles sont très dérangeantes, c'est long comme un film l'est rarement, et il n'y a pas signe d'une âme dans cette œuvre. Aucun intérêt. Les louanges et les notes positives que les gens ont pour ce film sont à n'y rien comprendre. Quant à moi, je n'ai pas eu le courage de tenir jusqu'à la fin. J'avais mieux à faire. J'aurais donc passé une heure très désagréable devant ce film, le visionnage duquel j'aurais largement pu me dispenser. Enfin, il est temps d'admettre à…
